During this three-day workshop series, participants build upon their knowledge of the 6+1 Traits of Writing and extend the bridge between assessment and instruction. This workshop reviews lessons and strategies that help students identify quality in writing, manage the writing process, master revision techniques, practice important editing skills, and become confident writers. Issues relating to the modes, genres forms and formats of writing are explored. A key feature of this series of workshops is the time for participants to plan to conduct their own training on the model back in their local schools and districts. Discussion and materials relating to staff development for adults are also featured at this training. Previous training is required.   Interested?
